Little Lord Fauntleroy

 Book Review:


     I read "Little Lord Fauntleroy". This book had 7,250 words and little long, but interesting for me.


Cedric Errol is now Lord Fauntleroy and the next heir. (p. 4)

Suddenly a woman's son became Lord Fauntleroy. This made me surprising. 


'Oh, look! He's just like his father, with the same hair, the same eyes. The dear little boy!' (p. 18)

His (Cedric's) father died before, but he was so kind person. People graded because Cedric's appearance was similar to his father. However I felt they had worrying to much about the looking.


The Earl took her hand. (p. 42)

Her means Cedric's mother. Cedric loves her. At first the earl don't like her because she was American, but at last they could be a friend. I felt it was thanks of Cedric. He can talking with fun to everyone. 


I thought I also like to be Cedric because I'm shy and I can't speak to everyone as the same. I was grad because Cedric's mother and the Earl made a good relationship.

GOODBYE MR HOLLYWOOD

 Book Review:      Today I read GOODBYE MR HOLLYWOOD . Firstly I had thought this book is mystery. However it's not mystery story like Holmes but it contained accidents or questions.        There was a man who is Nick. He is a travel writer and have come Whistler, in Canada for his working. At a cafe in the village he met a pretty lady. He is called Mr. Hollywood from her because Nick likes movies. It's not strange thing but actually the name was beginning of all incidents.       Nick didn't know about the lady, but felt exciting because she was beautiful. After she left the cafe, he finished drinking his coffee and left there. However from the day he was chased from someone. Moreover when Nick was walking in the forest someone tried to kill him with a gun. Nick went to a police, but the officer didn't help him so much. I thought the officer isn't kind and not suit for police men.      To be safe he met the lady again because he has thought she knows something about

Slam Dunk for Mark

" I want to be here. You'll be well soon. You're very important to me. And basketball is only a game. " This phrase is a Mark's. He is good at playing basketball ,and he could go to the final games tomorrow afternoon. But his grandmother was sick, so he decided to absent the game. In the school, his friends was very excited. Because he was sure Mark come to today's game ,and their school get a winning cup. Therefore after they heard Mark will absent the game, Mark's friends and his girlfriend irritated with Mark. First I thought Mark is good boy and he is smart. But now I think he had to go to the match and play. Because not only his friends but also a teacher and his grandma looked forward to his success.

'Who, Sir? Me, Sir?'

 Book Review:      Today I finished reading a book of 'Who, Sir? Me, Sir?' This was little long and high level for me, so there are some points that I couldn't understand. However the story was interesting.     There was a teacher who wants his class to have ambition, and to do great things in life. Therefore he enters them for a sporting competition against the rich students of Greycoats School. The team that he has chosen for the competition think the teacher has gone crazy. 'Who, Sir? Me, Sir?' says little boy who is called Hoomey, his eyes round with horror. 'We'll never beat Greycoats,'  the others cry. 'Never in a million years!'      However you don't know what you can do until you try...      If you know the result of the competition, I recommend to read this book.
