Book Review:       This week I read The Man in the Iron Mask(2005) . When I finished reading this book, I was surprised because there are few scenes appear the iron mask. I have thought the mask become the important thing, but it’s not. This book was different from my idea, but I thought interesting. Let me introduce three quotes which I chose. The first one is: ‘The sun visits me every day. It comes through my small window. At night, I look at the stars. Am I free, Bishop?’ This is the phrase of a young man. He was in the prion since he was a boy regardless he was no crime. Aramis who is a man wanted him to be free, because actually the young man was brother of king. So Aramis asked him “Do you want to be free?” and the young man replied the phrase. I thought what is free and what is happiness. Book Review:       Today I read The Last of the Mohicans . The level was MMR2+ and 6514words. I read it about an hour.  Now I’ll write three quotes that were impressive for me. The first one is “He threw his knife at Alice.(p.26)” Magua(who is a man) said to Alice “You will be my wife.” suddenly because  Alice’s father and he were enemy for each other from the point of national problem and the father tied him. So Magua thought I’ll get Alice as a wife. But of course Alice didn’t want to his wife, and refused. Then he threw his knife. When I read this scene I was surprised the frightening of him and her courage. The second one is Duncan saw a bear following them.(p.45) Suddenly the word “bear” was appear but in this scene bear isn’t afraid. Duncan was a Indian and they like bears. May 14, 2020 Book Review: The Black Tulip (2005)               This week I read The Black Tulip . This book has 9567words and 63pages, but I could read it   smoothly because the contents was interesting and less of difficult words. Now I will write three quotes which I chose and will discuss about them.       The first one is “One morning, he heard a girl’s voice outside his cell.” (p.35) “He” means Cornelius Van Baerle and the voice was Rosa’s. Cornelius Van Baerle loves Rosa and she loves him. But because of the place, they couldn’t meet for a long time. So I was happy when I read this sentences, and found they could meet.      The second one is “‘And now the bud is...BLACK!’”( p.47)This is the phrase of Rosa’s.
