Tutankhamun
Book Review: Today I finished reading "Tutankhamun". This was one of the USBORNE YOUNG READING series, but little long for me. In addition, there are many difficult words, so not easy to read it soon. People who studied Ancient Egypt became known as Egyptologists. (p. 23) I felt if there is a category of Japantologists, it might interesting. "Please give me one more year." (p. 27) Nevertheless Carter couldn't find anything for 5 years, he continued searching the Tutankhamen. Moreover at last he could find it. I respect him. When the body was X-rayed, something interesting showed up: there were two tiny pieces of broken bone inside the skull. (p. 57) I didn't know about it, so this phrase made me surprising. It is still mystery why their bones are in the skull. I hope someday it will be revealed. I felt I have to try more books of USBORNE YOUNG READING series, to get more higher reading skills. Thank you.
